Please read them carefully before placing an order.

You may use our website for lawful purposes only.
You agree not to:
- Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website or systems.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the website.
- Copy or reproduce our website content without permission.
- Use automated systems to collect information from the website without our permission.
- Provide false or misleading information when placing an order.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to our website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
3. Products
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications and prices displayed on our website are accurate.
However:
- Product colours may appear slightly different depending on your device or screen.
- Product packaging may vary from images shown on the website.
- Manufacturers or suppliers may make reasonable changes to product design or packaging.
- Product images may sometimes be illustrative and not an exact representation of the final packaging.
Where a product has specific specifications, features or compatibility requirements, customers should carefully review the product description before ordering.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights regarding goods that are faulty, not as described, or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements.
4. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Because we source products from a range of suppliers, including UK and international suppliers, availability may change without notice.
If you place an order for a product that subsequently becomes unavailable, we may contact you to offer an alternative solution or provide a full refund.
If we cannot fulfil your order, we will not knowingly retain your payment for an order we cannot supply.
5. Prices
All prices displayed on our website are shown in British Pounds Sterling (£) unless stated otherwise.
The applicable price is the price displayed on the website when you place your order.
We reserve the right to change product prices before an order is placed.
Once your order has been accepted, we will not increase the agreed price for that order except where required by law or where an obvious pricing error has occurred.
Where applicable, delivery charges will be displayed separately before you complete your purchase.
If Stordex becomes VAT registered, prices and VAT information will be displayed in accordance with applicable UK requirements.
6. Pricing Errors
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices and product information are accurate.
If we discover an obvious error in the price of a product you have ordered, we may contact you before dispatch to explain the error.
You will then have the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.
7. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product.
Before completing your order, you will have the opportunity to review and correct your order details.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information provided during checkout is accurate, including:
- Name
- Delivery address
- Email address
- Telephone number, where requested
- Product selection
- Quantity
After placing an order, we will normally send an order confirmation email.
The confirmation email will provide details of your order and, where applicable, information about delivery.
Online sellers must provide customers with confirmation of the contract and information that customers can retain for future reference.
8. Order Acceptance
An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that your order has been dispatched.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order in reasonable circumstances, including:
- The product becoming unavailable.
- An obvious pricing or product description error.
- Suspected fraudulent activity.
- A payment being declined or reversed.
- An inability to deliver to the supplied address.
- Circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will arrange an appropriate refund.
9. Payment
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
We do not knowingly store your complete payment card details on our own systems where payment processing is handled by a third-party payment provider.
10. Delivery
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom, unless otherwise stated on the product or checkout page.
Estimated delivery times will be displayed on the website or communicated to you where applicable.
Our standard estimated delivery timeframe may be:
3–7 business days
However, delivery times can vary depending on:
- Product availability.
- Supplier location.
- Courier service.
- Delivery address.
- Weekends and public holidays.
- Customs or import procedures where applicable.
- Circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where a product has a different estimated delivery time, the product page or checkout information will take precedence.
UK distance-selling rules generally require goods to be delivered without undue delay and, unless another period has been agreed, within 30 days.
11. Internationally Sourced Products
Some products sold through Stordex may be sourced from suppliers outside the United Kingdom.
Where applicable, products may therefore be dispatched from an international fulfilment location.
The estimated delivery timeframe for such products may differ from products dispatched from within the UK.
Any applicable delivery information will be provided before you complete your purchase.
We will remain responsible for our obligations to you as the retailer, regardless of where the product is sourced.
12. Customs, Duties and Taxes
Where an order is supplied internationally, customs procedures may affect delivery times.
We will provide relevant information about additional charges where we know that such charges apply.
You should not assume that an international shipment will always have additional charges. Where applicable, the treatment of VAT, customs duties or other charges will depend on the product, shipment and applicable rules.
13. Delivery Problems
If your order does not arrive within the expected delivery period, please contact us at:
[support email]
Please provide your:
- Order number
- Name
- Delivery address
- Email address
We will investigate the delivery with the relevant courier or supplier.
If a parcel is confirmed as lost, we will work with you to provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your legal rights.
14. Incorrect Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address.
If you provide an incorrect or incomplete address and the parcel is returned to us or the delivery provider, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where additional delivery costs arise because incorrect information was supplied by the customer, we may discuss those costs with you before arranging another delivery, subject always to your statutory rights.
15. Damaged or Faulty Products
If your product arrives damaged, defective or faulty, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide:
- Your order number.
- A description of the problem.
- Photographs or video where appropriate.
- Photographs of the packaging where relevant.
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include a:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Refund
- Other appropriate remedy
We will not exclude or restrict rights that you have under applicable consumer law.
16. Your Right to Cancel
If you are a UK consumer purchasing goods online, you generally have a statutory right to cancel your order without giving a reason.
For most distance contracts for goods, the cancellation period is 14 days from the day after you receive the goods.
This is separate from any additional return policy Stordex may voluntarily offer.
To exercise your cancellation right, please contact us using the details below:
Email: [support email]
Please include:
- Your name
- Order number
- The product you wish to return
- A clear statement that you wish to cancel the contract
You may use your own wording.
17. Returning Products After Cancellation
If you cancel your order under the statutory cancellation right, you should return the goods to us without undue delay and generally within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation.
Unless the goods are faulty, incorrect or otherwise our responsibility, you may normally be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where you were informed of this before purchase.
Returned goods should be handled with reasonable care.
You may inspect the goods as you would reasonably be able to do in a shop. However, you may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
18. Refunds
Where you validly cancel an order under the statutory cancellation rules, we will provide the applicable refund within the required legal timeframe.
We may withhold the refund until:
- We receive the returned goods; or
- You provide evidence that you have sent the goods back,
whichever occurs first, where permitted by law.
Where required by law, the refund will include the applicable standard delivery charge paid when the order was placed.
If you selected a more expensive delivery option than our least expensive standard delivery option, we may not be required to refund the additional cost.
19. 30-Day Returns
In addition to your statutory rights, Stordex may offer a 30-day return policy for eligible products.
Where this applies, products should generally be:
- Unused.
- In their original condition.
- Complete with accessories.
- Returned with original packaging where reasonably possible.
The 30-day policy does not remove or replace your statutory rights.
If a product is faulty, defective or not as described, your legal rights continue to apply regardless of any voluntary returns policy.
20. Products That May Have Different Return Conditions
Certain products may be subject to different return requirements where permitted by law.
For example, restrictions may apply to products that:
- Are personalised or made to your specifications.
- Are sealed for hygiene reasons and have been unsealed.
- Are liable to deteriorate or expire quickly.
- Cannot reasonably be returned due to their nature.
Where an exception applies, we will provide the relevant information before you purchase.
Nothing in this section affects rights relating to faulty, defective or misdescribed products.
21. Exchanges
We may offer exchanges for selected products.
If you would prefer an alternative product rather than a refund, please contact our customer service team.
Where an exchange is not available, we may offer a refund or another appropriate remedy.
22. Product Safety
Customers should read and follow all instructions, warnings and safety information supplied with products.
Certain products, particularly electronics, kitchen equipment, pet products and household products, may have specific safety requirements.
Do not use a product contrary to its instructions or intended purpose.
If you believe a product may be unsafe, stop using it and contact us immediately.
23. Electronics and Electrical Products
Where electrical or electronic products are sold, product specifications, compatibility and power requirements should be checked before purchase.
Customers should follow all manufacturer instructions and safety warnings.
Where applicable, products supplied to UK consumers will be subject to the relevant legal product-safety requirements.
We do not knowingly sell counterfeit products.
24. Product Images
We make reasonable efforts to display products accurately.
However, images may differ slightly from the actual product due to:
- Lighting.
- Photography.
- Screen settings.

Such differences do not affect your statutory rights if the product is materially different from its description.

These third parties may process information or perform services necessary to complete your purchase.
However, your contract for the purchase of goods is with Stordex unless expressly stated otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our responsibility for matters that cannot legally be excluded or restricted, including liability relating to death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights concerning goods.
Consumer terms must be fair and transparent, and businesses cannot simply contract out of responsibility for faulty goods or goods that are not as described.
30. Events Outside Our Control
We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
These may include:

- Natural disasters.
- War or civil unrest.

Where customer reviews are displayed on our website, we aim to present them honestly and transparently.
We will not knowingly create or publish fake reviews or falsely represent reviews as coming from customers who have not provided them.
We may moderate reviews to remove content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, irrelevant, spam or otherwise inappropriate.
We will not remove genuine negative feedback simply because it is negative.
34. Complaints
We want to resolve customer concerns quickly and fairly.

Please include your order number and explain the issue clearly.
We will review your complaint and respond as soon as reasonably possible.

Changes will generally apply to future purchases and website use.

Important before you publish this
Because Stordex is a real UK store, I would not publish the above unchanged. You need to replace the placeholders and make sure the actual policies match what you really offer.
In particular, don’t advertise “30 days easy returns” if your actual return policy doesn’t support it. Your voluntary 30-day policy can be more generous than the statutory 14-day cancellation right, but it shouldn’t be written in a way that takes away statutory rights.
Also, your website should have separate pages for:
- Terms & Conditions
- Privacy Policy
- Cookie Policy
- Delivery & Shipping Policy
- Returns & Refund Policy
- Contact Us
For Stordex specifically, I’d recommend making the Returns & Refund Policy very clear because you’re planning to source products from both UK and overseas suppliers. That is the area most likely to create customer disputes.
